Ticket question

we have gold APs. Spring break is a black out period for these. If we go spring break and I buy regular tickets, when making Fastpasses will the system just know to pick the valid tickets and not the APs?

Or will I need to deactivate the magic bands with the APs first? Which makes me nervous.

The MDX system will know, especially since only one of the tickets would be valid. You will need to purchase these extra tickets, and associate them with your MDX account, before scheduling FPs for the AP blackout days.

Magic bands are not associated with tickets, only with MDX accounts. You can use any Magic bands associated with the account interchangeably.

You don't need to deactivate anything. Simply buy the regular tickets and link them to your MDE account prior to your FP+ reservation date opening. You'll be good to go.

You can just upgrade your AP. Probably cheaper than separate tickets.

Unfortunately I can't upgrade AP's over the phone. I see no way to schedule Fastpasses without valid tickets since we have the Gold Pass and spring break is blacked out, and no way we can go during that time without fastpasses
