Hi all! I have a question about changing my tickets to Hoppers when we arrive at WDW. I did try to find the information in the tix sticky but didn't see it (not saying it's not there - just that I didn't see it:crazy2:). I have 2 7-day tickets we purchased tickets back in '09 but never used. We have been planning to go back but it didn't happen until now. So I purchased 2 more tickets (6-day) for my kids. I am thinking we might want to upgrade to hoppers when we get there :Pinkbouncand I just want to make sure I am understanding that while the price to upgrade the new tickets will be about $75 the price to upgrade the older tickets will be $223 :scared1:(since the original tickets were $227). Is that right?:teacher::teacher: If so, then I will not be upgrading but I just wanted to be sure I was understanding it correctly. Thank you!!:disrocks:

1. the price to upgrade the new tickets will be about $75
2. the price to upgrade the older tickets will be $223 (since the original tickets were $227). Is that right?

If you did NOT buy your tickets directly from Disney (at the gates, by mail, on-line, on the phone) use the following numbers:
1. $75, plus tax ($79.88) per ticket.
2. A 6-day Adult base ticket prior to Feb. 12, 2017 cost $378.08 (incl. tax) per ticket.
So the cost to upgrade to a 6-day Hopper would be $117.15 (incl. tax) per ticket.

OTOH,
If you DID buy your tickets directly from Disney (at the gates, by mail, on-line, on the phone)
it MIGHT be that you will not automatically get that higher value (shown in #2 above) for your tickets.
In that case, if the CM does not raise the value of your older tickets to the value shown
in #2 above, it may help if you "ask nicely."

HERE is the "Upgrading Tickets" section of the Ticket Sticky.

Not quite. The old 7-day ticket should be worth the price just before the most recent price increase which added expiration dates to tickets. I believe that’s $394. Adding the hopper should cost about $100 each for this tickets.
