We have 5 day one park tickets we purchased several years ago--if we want to add park hopper to them how can we figure the cost?

Thanks

Maybe.
It can be much more complex and expensive than that, unfortunately.
It was that simple before the recent change, though, correct? Wouldn't "several year old" tickets retain their original status and be eligible for current gate price?

the best answer I think is it might only be $75 but it could end up being much more. this is one area where it's really confusing.

So if I'm reading between the lines is it worth it to take my tickets for my 2018 trip (purchased in 2016, regular tickets purchased through Airmiles (Canadian travel rewards company)) when I go in May of this year and see if I can add park hoppers on for $75 per ticket? Knowing full well that it may end up being way more than that, in which case I won't proceed with the transaction.

I would really prefer to have park hoppers but I can plan and visit the parks without them.

Are we on a case by case basis as to how Disney is handling upgrades?

I'm in a similar situation. Does anyone have a list or can point me in the right direction to get the "before Feb. 12" ticket value? I've tried several times, but can't get the AllEars link to work. Thanks!

Check the "All About Tickets" link in Robo's signature.

That's where I got the Allears link to the old ticket value info. It doesn't appear to work.

that's probably the best way to find out their value. Also play dumb like you didn't know of the change and sometimes that helps in your favor.

1. Yes.
2. That is, in fact, what CHANGED.
Tickets issued before Feb, 12, 2017 are now only worth what they would have been worth on Feb. 11, 2017.
(That is the case for upgrading to AP. Upgrading by adding "days" and/or "options" may or may not be that exact situation, and I can't seem to get any definitive information as to exactly what the upgrade cost will be.)

I'll do that. I have mastered the innocent dumb blonde routine on more than one ocassion.
