If you purchase a package with room, tickets and dining, are you able to use the tickets before you actually check in to the hotel?

For example, we want to stay Monday-Friday, but will be in the area and possibly use one day of tickets on the Saturday before. Is this doable? It's within 14 days

Yes. The tickets can only be activated early at a Ticket Booth or Guest Relations. This means you can't book FPs for that 1st park day until your tickets are activated.
