Ticket question

Yes for sure! The food (and drinks!) are remarkably better at DCA, especially for quick service meals.

Good to know!

Agree. We love DCA and could easily spend days there (and we have). I think this is the idea for those looking to save money. They can buy a 3-day non-hopper ticket and do one day at DCA and two at Disneyland. But I wouldn't recommend that to anyone unless they are really short on time and/or cash.

Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom do not have many rides. HS was supposed to thrill guests with its shows and AK with it's animal "exhibits." But DCA is not like those parks. It has tons of rides. Soarin', Tower of Terror, Screamin', Radiator Springs Racers, Grizzly River Run (my fav), are all big E-ticket attractions. Plus there is Toy Story and a plethora of other fun smaller attractions like Mater's Jamboree. If you only had one day you would either have to sacrifice ride time or give up on enjoying any shows or ambiance at the park. Two days really is a must, and an extra half day or so is better. Of course we like to ride pretty much everything and see several shows. If you are only into big attractions, then one day may be fine. However, I'm guessing since you'd like to stay longer than 5 days that you are going to DLR for more than some rides.

You got that right - we want more than just the highlights. We want the whole kit-and-caboodle experience! :)
