long story short, my kids have AP for Disney due to visiting grandparents in Orlando often. We booked FD in September, in a Value because we like our own place rather than crowding my parent's home. We did book the minimum 2 day ticket for all of us in the package but the kid's will continue to use their AP. Can I do anything with their un activated 2 day ticket for this trip, perhaps put it toward upgrading to an adult ticket for my sister who will be meeting us at the park or even putting it toward our adult ticket to add days? The kids will not be getting AP next year, or I would put it towards that. Our next trip to Disney will be 2 years and I don't wish to hang on to unused tickets for that long.

lol, thanks Robo
funny how you broke it down, lol

My pleasure!
After you get to WDW and the resort package tickets are "activated" (but not used,)
you can reassign those tickets to anyone for use or upgrade.

It may be easier (or "safer") to go to any Guest Relations or ticket booth and have the CM
take the tickets off of your MyDisneyExperience account and put onto regular plastic tickets.
Then, you can deal with those tickets separately.

Have a great trip!

Not sure if you are right Robo. I had an issue two years ago. I had purchased base tickets as part of a free dining package for my sister and her husband. I decided to get military tickets that trip and saved the regular tickets. A year later when I went with my new fiance we tried to trade them in I was told no. Even though I had bought them and they were unused they told me only my sister and brother in law could get the upgrade. We could not upgrade them or use the credit. I spoke to several managers with no help. I was forced to use them as a single day entry. Which was a total waste since we we were buying new 7 day hoppers with wp&m options. Basically Disney got over on me for $350.00

They may be allowed to do it since it involves kids. In my case it was adult tickets.
