We are going for 12 days in July. We have purchased a 10 park hopper with water park option. This leaves us 2 days short for park entrance. One of those days we are just going to spend resort hopping and at DTD. The other day we are thinking of buying a 1 day water park ticket. Will this be added to our magic bands or will we just pay when we walk up to the water park of our choice for that day? The reason we are thinking of buying a 1 day ticket to the water park, it is cheaper than buying a 1 day theme park ticket.

Thanks

Your tickets are good for 14 days. Since you already have the WP&M option, I doubt you would need to add another water park day.

With the Water Park Fun & More option, you get 10 visits to the Water Parks, Disney Quest, etc. These visits are separate from the 10 theme park days.

Unless you are planning to go to water park (or DQ) on every day you go to a theme park, you won't need another ticket.

Oh, ok. Thank you all so much. I was under the impression it was 10 days total for water parks and theme parks. We only plan on going to the water parks for 2 days tops and we always stop at DQ.

You have 14 days total from start of using your tickets until they expire. You already have plans for 10 park days and then theoretically you have 4 additional days to use up any water park options. You don't have to use any ticket feature consecutively. Another element of your ticket is, you can use your water park options on a park day (for example, a park visit plus DisneyQuest, or plus Mini Golf before 4pm, or plus water park, or plus 9-hole golf). You could do a water park option first, then visit a park later in the day. The water park ticket option is very flexible. You won't need to purchase an add'l water park ticket.

I didn't know you could play 9 hole golf with this option. Is this at any disney course?

Nope.
