Ticket Question

I checked the stickie, but I couldn't find where it covered this information.

Right now Undercovertourist has a 3 days get one free park hopper for Disney. It says a saving of $29 from the gate, which is when compared to a 4 day ticket.

We will upgrade either to add more days or to an annual pass. We're not quite sure right now which option we'll choose. When we do will they bridge the price of the ticket to a Disney 3 day or a Disney 4 day? If they bridge to a 3 day we'll lose $3 but if they bridge to a 4 day we'll save $29.

The UT ticket is actually a regular 4-day Magic Your Way ticket.

(The "Buy a 3-day ticket, Get a 4-day ticket" is just an advertising situation.)

WDW will treat the ticket as a 4-day ticket for upgrading purposes (because that's what it is.)

As explained in Post 22 of the Ticket Sticky, use your tickets first to enter a theme park before doing your upgrade. That is part of the price-bridge process and gives your UCT ticket Disney gate price credit.

Thanks, I know how bridging works, but I just didn't know if the 3 plus a day free was some sort of promotional ticket or if it would bridge as a 4 day.

Did you check Orbitz? They are doing buy a 3 day get 2 days free. Not sure if it's cheaper but then you would be bridging from a 5 day ticket.

Thanks! No I didn't think to check there, but yes, it is cheaper. So these orbitz and Expedia tickets can be upgraded?
