Hi! I just wanted to make sure I understand this correctly. This will be my first time without park hoppers. We will have 5 day base tickets. The day we arrive we are not doing any parks. So, Monday, we go to MK - our first ticket "becomes" a MK ticket - can we leave then reenter MK if we want? It doesn't matter which park we go to which day, as long as we stick with just that park that day, right? Friday we check out of our room then will spend the day at AK. We won't be able to use our magic bands for paying for things that day, will we? Anything else I need to know? LOL! I used to consider myself somewhat of a WDW expert but there have been so many changes in the past 3 yrs I feel like a newbie. :)

Luckily, the rules about the tickets haven't really changed. Yes, without the park hopper option, you can only go to one park per day using that ticket. So, if you go to MK on Monday, it means you can only re-enter MK (you can go in and out as much as you'd like) on Monday. It doesn't mean your entire ticket becomes an "MK ticket"; it just means you used one day (out of five) on your ticket to get into MK. If on Tuesday you wanted to go to Epcot, you can do that.

Right! :thumbsup2

It is good to remember that if you DO decide to hop, you can add the hopper option at any time.

And your MBs will still work on check-out day, so you can still make FP+ ressies for AK on your last day. If you check out before going to the park, you won't be able to charge anything to the room, but if you have DDP credits left, you can still use those.

What he said.:thumbsup2

We usually take a break in the afternoons and return. One time we forgot we had an ADR in a different park. Not a good feeling there. We changed the ressie, but missed out on one of our favorites that trip.
