Ticket question

I'm not sure which area to post this in. Can someone please explain this to me like I'm in kindergarten?!?!

We have a reservation via DVC rental. Now I need to buy our tickets. Can I link them to our reservation before arrival or do I have to wait until we check in? In which case, do we miss out on making FP reservations 60 days in advance? Will magic bands be mailed to us?

I feel like I just got all the planning down when we went 2 years ago and now I feel like a newbie all over again!

Where are you buying your tickets from?

I have bought tickets from Undercover Tourist and Orbitz and linked both of them with no problem to MDE (My Disney Experience) for an upcoming trip. Of course, if you buy your tickets directly from Disney then they will be able to link those with no problem also. So, Yes you can (and should) link your tickets prior to your arrival.

Once your tickets are in MDE you will be able to book FP+ reservations 60 days prior to your trip.

You will also be able to customize your magic bands and have them shipped to you. This part doesn't have anything to do with your tickets- just your hotel reservation linked to MDE.

Oh thank goodness!!! I'm so relieved to learn that! I haven't really picked a place to buy them from yet but reading the changes made me nervous.
