so im super excited - our park tickets have arrived this morning!!

now i went to link them on MDE - its asking for the cards 12 digit number.... this is where my query starts... 8 digits are visable and then theres a metalic scratch bit over the rest of the digits....... do i just scratch this off?? im worried that i'll make the card void is i scratch this off!! eekk!!

if i link the cards on MDE can i book fastpasses ?? or will i still only be able to book fastpasses at each park each morning ( as were not stopping on site?)

if i cant book fast passes then is there any need to link my tickets to MDE???

super excited now!!

Yes, scratch off the rest of the number (if it is the number above the bar code). If you have the app, you should also be able to just scan the tickets in using the bar code.

If you are staying off-site, currently you will only be able to book FP+ on the day of your visit at the park you are visiting (and only at one park per day).

As far as whether it's worth linking your tickets, it's my understanding that you should be able to change your FP+ on MDE once you've initially booked them, rather than have to go back to a kiosk. That's probably the only benefit to having them linked at the moment. Oh, and the fact that it will link your whole family, in theory making it easier to make FP+ for everyone in your party at once.
