Ticket Question

Hello,

My family and I are going to Disneyland in June. We are arriving for a conference on a Thursday and staying offsite during the conference. We purchased a package with Grand Californian / 4 day park hoppers that we had planned to start using on Monday, when our conference ends and we check in to the Grand Californian. I had thought that we would not receive our park hopper tickets until we checked in (I thought that's what I remembered from our last trip 2 years ago), but we have received them ahead of time in the mail, so I am thinking of adding a day on to them and using that day on the Friday after we arrive. My question is this: Is it possible to add a day to the tickets to use that Friday? Also, since the tickets were purchased as part of a package and we will not yet be staying at the Grand Californian, will that cause some sort of problem? And do the tickets have to be used for 5 consecutive days, or can we use the first day on a Friday and then the second day on a Monday?

Thanks!
Amanda

If you purchased the tickets prior to the price increase, it may be more expensive than you think to add a day, but unless there are dates printed on the tickets, it shouldn't make a difference, but I would try to add a day before heading into the parks.

The park hopper days do not have to be consecutive, so you can add a day anytime...you just pay the difference.
Have a great time...it should be epic. Take advantage of the MM's.

I only recommend doing so before entering the parks, as it may be more expensive than they are planning, depending on the original date they booked, so I thought they should be able to make an educated decision on adding the day, instead of being forced into it on the last day and getting sticker shock.

To upgrade a ticket you will pay the difference between what you paid for the ticket and the current gate price of the ticket. You will loose any advance purchase discount.

Sorry, I made the assumption that the price difference would have been considered already.

OP, Your package breakdown contains how much the PH cost you in order to determine the difference you will pay to add a day. Currently, a 5 day PH is going for $290.
