I did a search and couldn't find the answer so sorry if this is a duplicate question. We are going to Disney in Oct 2012 can I buy tickets now to use then? It would help if I could buy them as I get the money! TIA for any info.

Yes you can order and/or buy your tickets now. They do not need non-expiration at this time.

Disney hints: http://www.cockam.com/disney.htm

Non-expiration is only needed if the usage of the ticket will occur over a period longer than 14 calendar days. Non-expiration does not necessarily save you money over buying new tickets for each vacation.

Be careful about ordering tickets a few at a time. Each shipment will have its own set of shipping charges.

Actually buying them now is a good idea, as more than likely there will be a general price increase in either June or August. Unused Disney tickets (with very few exceptions) do not expire until 14 days after their first use.

Also, you might want to get a free subscription to www.mousesavers.com and when you get the issue follow their link to Undercover Tourist which is probably the best discount.

Be aware that UCT prices include the 6.5% sales tax while Disney tends to add the sales tax at checkout.

For more information look at the locked sticky Everything About WDW Tickets in the TPA&S Forum; you can get directly to it by following the link in my signature.
