I'm looking to buy two ten day park hopper passess no expiration option. (Will be more econmical for the two trips i have planned) My question is if i buy these passes from disney are they a paper ticket or are they put on a credit card type ticket? ( nervous about holding on to paper ticket for more than a year) Trips planned : 3 day trip beach club prior to disney cruise / 7day trip unknown where we will stay at this time. (Possibly Polynesian) Also I believe we will do dining plan on both trips. (If not at Poly)

Its a fancy material paper ticket.. kinda like a mylar paper. Very durable, but still only the size of a parking coupon, etc.

If you write down the number on the ticket and keep it seperate with your reciept, they can replace lost tickets.

Or better yet, I would suggest you make a photocopy of it. . .

Just a thought. I have found that it's cheaper for us (family of 4) to by annual passes than it is to buy park hopper plus passes for a 10 day stay. Something you might want to look into.

Just a little FYI.....Disney Stores don't sell 10 day passes. We only go up to 7 day & we do offer AP's (Not DVC).

I bought a lanyard with a plastic ziplock case for $0.97 at Walmart in the jewelry/ luggage travel tags section. I plan on keeping our 5 day passes safely dry and secure there, also if you make a copy of the backs of them, then when they are worn or get lost, Disney will replace them free :thumbsup2

I don't know if they wil lstill do it, but one time when we got the "paper" tickets, I asked if they could switch them to plastic and they said "yes>".
