Ticket Question

I have been reading about buying a package with a one day ticket (to get the dining plan, whether free or not). We did this for our trip this week because dh and I had passes already from a previous trip. I then bought ds, who hasn't needed a ticket yet, a 5 day pass.

Am I right in reading that I didn't have to buy that pass, but that I could have added days just to his ticket when we arrived? That is good to know for the future. Is there anything I can do now to recoup some of the extra money I spent? Like combining those tickets or something? I would have 1 one day no hopper on my room reservation and a 5 day hopper pass for him separately.

Thanks in advance!

Yes you acould have expanded his package ticket to 5 or however many days after checking in at the resort.

Tickets cannot be combined.

If you are doing a future vacation of three or fewer days you can use up the one day tickets one day at a time and it would not be a waste of money.
