Ticket question - Reassigning Base tkts

Currently, my son (adult) and I each have a 2-day base ticket assigned to us on my MDE account. However, I am 72 days away from a much-needed solo trip. I noticed on the MDE site that I can reassign his ticket to me. My plan was to reassign his 2-day tkt to me and then convert all 4 days to a AP when I get down there in March. Will that work? :confused3
 
Yes, that will work. You can reassign any tickets that you possess in hand or linked to your MDE account and can use those to upgrade.

You can't use 2 tickets to upgrade, they will still be separate tickets, not one 4 day. You can upgrade one of them to an AP.
 

It is also virtually never a good plan, financially, to actually USE more than one ticket per person during one single trip.
So, even if you were to decide NOT to upgrade, it would not be a good plan for one person to use both of those tickets
during a single trip.

And, yes, guests can't combine tickets in order to upgrade to a single new ticket (AP or otherwise.)
