Ticket Question - Do they Scan the Little Ones?

Becuase of my DD and DS becoming old enough to need tickets - the whole family has a different number of days left on our no expiration tickets. I need help!
DH and I have 4 days of no expiration park hopper left
DS has 3 days of no expiration park hopper left
DD will need a ticket when we go in Feb.
My question - do they "scan" the fingers of the little ones? I was thinking of getting a 5 day no expiration park hopper for my DD with one day to be used by her brother. Any chance of doing that??? That way we would finally all be on the same page ticket wise. Any help greatly appreciated!!

Yes and no. Finger scans are not required for any child passes for children under age 10. Nor are they required for handicapped people who cannot use the finger scanners. If you personally prefer not using the finger scanners, a photo ID can always override the use of biometrics. Just present the gate CM a photo ID and be admitted without using the scanner.

They don't scan on children's tickets. However, the situation you describe- I'm not sure how that would work. I don't think you can use it for one child and another child on the SAME day? Is that what you meant?

We had the same problem of "unevenness" on our last trip- we just bought 1 day ticket to even it up... because I don't think you can use one ticket for two people on the same day even if you're trying to use 2 days on the ticket. I don't think it will work that way. And even if it did work- how would you do it? How would you pass that ticket over to be used by the other child after one child went through?

You are right - I never thought about the fact that it would already be in use for the one day - and we couldn't use it for DS. Duh on my part. Thanks for the information. I guess I'll just have to bite the bullet and get one day tickets to even everybody up. Thanks again!
