when we went to WDW in 1991 on our honeymoon...14 years ago..
we didn't use all our 4 days of our "passport" ticket (hopper in the year 2005) and they told us that the ticket would never exprire..
That was the policy 14 years ago...and before I count on that statement I am trying to contact WDW to verify them.
Has anyone else dealt with this or does anyone have a # to call?

I know it is like an antique...but we have had a busy past 14 years and are
looking forward to returning. We have a child who is a Make A Wish child and this trip will be a sad but happy trip.

Thanks for the help
jamie

We leave May 6th!!

Your ticket is still good. It will need to be exchanged at a Guest Relations location for one of the magnetic strip tickets that are in use today. But rest assured, the unused admissions on your 4 day World Passport are still valid.

The admission will still be good but you cannot use it at AK. The tickets are only good for the parks that were open when you bought the ticket. You will need to use other admission for AK if you wish to visit that park.

That has recently changed. From allearsnet:

"Have them converted to the magnetic strip ticket and you can still use them. Oh by the way, once you do the conversion your days can be used at any of the four major parks now."

Cheers.

You are all SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO awesome!!
Thanks for all the answers and I am confident that I can use these
tickets
We are all excited about going.....I just got done doing PS and boy did I
get some good seats and I didn't even have to pull the MAW boy card...except to get window table in the castle.
We got the last seating 8:45p.m.on May 9th and fireworks are 9a.m
Our son will love it...along with his sister (12)
And I will be crying like a baby

Although it is not Disney's policy to, ask to get back the old ticket as a souvenir, they will stamp "void" on it.

You do not have to use the ticket immediately upon conversion and do not have to go inside the park to do the conversion.

It is not a good deal to use the ticket during a 5 to 10 day vacation when you buy a new ticket for the rest of the vacation. Under those circumstances your old ticket may contribute as little as three dollars' value. WHereas using the ticket on a future day tripper, yhou could get sixty five dollars' value from it.

I just wanted to make sure that you knew if your child is on a MAW trip, you will get some Disney passes for your trip, so depending on how many days you plan to go to the Disney parks, you may not need to use your 14 yr old passes at all. There are frequent posters on the disABILITIES Board that can answer any questions about MAW trips.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU
Disney just contacted me and you were all correct....the tickets are
valid... I am sooooooooooooooo thrilled. Only 2.5 weeks to go!!!
And our DD12 still doesn't know the actual day we are leaving..
