We are going next week, and will likely to to Universal for 2-3 days. How can I get the best deal on tickets?

If you are going next week, I suggest you just purchase online at www.universalorlando.com You can either choose the print at home tickets where you take the sheet of printer paper right to the turnstiles or you can choose kiosk pickup which will print you out a credit card sized ticket.

There are other sites such as www.undercovertourist.com that have good deals but there may not be enough time for those tickets to get to you before you leave.
