ticket priority not important anymore with date based tickets?

Now that tickets have dates associated with them, do we not have to worry about ticket priority anymore?

For instance, I have a trip in June for which I will use my AP (which expires in June). I just bought 8dayPH from UT for my Dec trip. Since those 8dPH tickets are dated to be used in Dec, I assume I don't have to worry about them accidentally being used when I enter the parks in June, right?

So I can load them in MDE now, right? There is no reason to wait?

Correct. They won’t be active in the system until their ‘use date.’

I'd keep them off MDE until after your June trip. We all know how terrible Disney's IT is.
