Any ideas for where is best to get disneyworld tickets, Disneys own website is the cheapest i have seen them Is it best to get them from a UK site or an US site in dollars??

Totally depends on type of ticket you want.
Some are only available from UK sellers, some from US agents.
Have you seen a ticket you think is suitable? how many days you planning on going into Disney? how long you there for? any chance of going twice within the year?

Only going once this year in march, we are there for a week, so was thinking a 7 day ticket is best, as most websites advertise 7 days as the same price as 5,
but was wondering whether it is better to have only a 4 day ticket form a US website, does it work out cheaper???

Can you get a 10% disc with Virgin Hols? we do with Frequent Virgin club. Brings a 7 day Ultimate ticket down to £164 (includes 7 days of Hopping, water parks, Disney Quest and Wide World of Sports) which is about same price as a 4 day base(4 parks only and no hopping) ticket direct at Disney gate.

Undercover Tourist are doing the 4 day base (plus 3 days free) ticket for approx £158.

Onlineflorida has the 7 day hopper for £211, UCT comes out at about £198.

UCT have a 3 day hopper plus 3 days free coming out at £190.

HTH :goodvibes

i always use this site, they have not let me down in 5 trips i used them. Their 7 day premium ticket is coming out at £179 for disney world 2009. they send tickets not vouchers which can speed things up at the turnstile. hope this helps:thumbsup2

They look a good option Claire. We are looking at 21 day Ultimates and at £198 these are £50 cheaper than most of the other usual outlets :thumbsup2

Glad to be of help. I always harp on about this company but I do think they always come out on top. Wonder if they would let me work on comission:lmao:

I recently created an excel spreadsheet (sad but true :guilty: ) as I was constantly losing the pieces of paper with different prices, types of tickets and ticket companies on them, and having to go back to square one each time.
What I have tried to do is to include the most popular ticket companies mentioned on this site, along with some of the more popular tickets that they sell, and have it i nsuch a way that you select the tickets you want from the company you want to buy them from and it keeps a running total of how much you are spending. That way you can see instantly who is offering best value for your situation, and whether mixing and matching different tickets from different companies will save you any extra.
I think it works quite well but I would be interested to get some feedback on it if anyone fancies trying it out for themselves.
Dm me if you want to have a look and I will email you the file.

Thanks for all your help, its much appreciated, it can be a bit of a minefield trying to get the best prices. :confused3 :confused3

We haven't booked through virgin holidays, only virgin atlantic, using flying club points,so not sure if the 10% offers still work.

I think you only get 5% off using flying club discount, so around £174 for 7 day premium. Still only about £10 more than the 4 day base ticket. Personally I would pay an extra £10 for convenience of park hopping and to be able to come and go the whole 7 days withought thinking about how many days I have. Maybe elsewhere is cheaper than £174, Kenny's file might help.
