Ticket Prices Increasing June 12th!

Any one know if this price will change on the premier pass too? We have one more year before our DD goes into K so we are doing as many trips as our DVC and airfare can swing. so the premier pass works for us right now its $$ but still cheaper to do it that way even with our one trip a year to WDW.

Is premier the $700 one? If the $700 one stays the same, I might do that one as well if I can't get the cheaper DLR pass before the price increase.

We currently have passes on both coasts, but it was cheaper to split them up b/c we don't do waterparks.

Booo...this whole thing is ridiculous!

I don't know for sure, but with the way WDW premiums and DLR premiums are going up I'd guess they would go up. Otherwise it would be closer to a bargain if you are an AP at one and make a visit to the other.

Hi I just called ticketing and they say they know nothing about price increases and so do not know if the premeir price will go up...UGH.

I will buy our now if only I could get accurate data....anyone know?

Thanks!

I'm sure if someone hears it will get posted here, but you might look at the other side of the boards too.

Who specifically did you call? I have spoken (twice) with the cast members at the AP Processing line at DLR.

Another website is reporting that the premier pass will go up from $700 to $749.

Buy your tickets online before the price hike if your trip is before December 31st. ;)

Can't...but I wish I could. We are using our bonus to buy the tickets and won't have the money until July.

Suggestions please?

I plan to spend 3-4 days in the park in late September. I plan to get a 3-day park hopper and later upgrade it to a DLX AP. Would you suggest:

Buying the 3-Day pass now, attending MM and upgrading in September with the price increase on the AP.

or

Buying the DLX AP now, getting the physical pass in September and not receive MM.

I'll probably never stay on site, and wanted to experience MM at least once.

I'm a SC resident is that's relevant!

Will I have to start monthly payments now, even though I haven't received the actual pass?

The Deluxe is the AP making the biggest jump - $50. In my opinion, one MM is not worth $50, so I'd get it now. Are you a SoCal resident? Only residents are eligible for the payment plan. I'm not sure how it works to buy the AP with a payment plan off the bat online when you don't have an activated AP yet. I only ever looked into the payment plan when I was renewing and I ended up not choosing it.

Anybody know how long the Costco 4-day parkhopper deal will last?

That's a good question. It's still on the Costco website. Those tickets have a end of August expiration so may be an option for some people if it sticks around.

Thank you so much for the response! I edited my post before I saw yours :)

I am a SC resident. I looked over disneyland's website, and I'm sure that I would have to start paying immediately. I'm going to ask through online chat.

I also will be purchasing two APs, so I think that you're definitely right.

If I buy the etickets tonight do I have to print them out right away? My printer isn't working so need to wait until I go to work Monday to print them out. Is this possible? Or should I just do will call?
Thanks!

Don't do will call, you have to pay extra. Printing at home is free. They email you a PDF of your ticket and you can print it anywhere and any time you like.

THANK YOU! Well, so much for waiting for a discount, lol! I'm going to order the etickets right now.

UGH!!! Now what to do.... We are planning on a trip Aug 5-7; was going to get PH so we can go on Saturday and then Sunday upgrade to DLX APs (mine Premium for discounts and parking). Thinking all along of a price jump same time in August as usual...this has completely thrown me for a loop!!! Now I don't know what to do.... Should we bite the bullet and get the passes now (am I correct that the start date isn't until first day visit when activated??- I don't want it to start now, I want it to start in August....) But then what about our Saturday visit?? HELP!!!

Thanks for the heads up. Guess we have to buy our tickets sooner than I planned for our trip.

Just bought our tickets for July. Glad Disney gave us a warning on this (don't know if that is regular practice or not). Not a great deal, but I'll feel better in July when we travel knowing that the prices are higher than I paid. It's all in the mind anyway, right?

That is a tough question. If you buy right now you will save $18 for each adult 4day PH comparing gate price announced to gate price that is current. Probably the $30 online disount will remain, though it could bump up with the new ticket prices to $32 or $35 off.

What makes it tough is the last few years when we knew the price increase was happening in August we knew what the fall special was so we could decided to buy or wait comparing if the special offer would outwiegh the price increase. Now we are left not knowing what the Fall special could be.

HUMMMMM what do we do :confused3

Wait for an August deal?? Or buy now??

Our trip is far off (October) but it's coming up fast you know.... This is stressin me a bit... I am going to have to weigh (an quickly) if the possible extra is worth paying if there is no deal in August or should we buy now and save....

:confused3 :headache: :confused3
