Ticket prices going up Thursday, August 5th

Disney Parks Blog confirms ticket prices go up Thursday:

WDW prices go up $3 for an adult 1-day base, up to $19 for the 10-day, and PH and WPFM options go up $2 a piece. No Expire options go up as well.

Tourist APs are up $10.

Only $10 for the AP? That's not bad. Actually makes an AP an even better value when compared to doing just MYW tickets.

It IS only $10 increase for an AP...but I don't see the new price for the AP renewal listed at all...are there going to be no more discounts for renewals? If not, that is a HUGE increase for those renewing their APs.

that's about a 4% increase on a base ticket...

This is the stupidity of Disney right now...they vow discounts will end...they haven't really done that...then they do ticket increases.

I would be refreshed to see them just find some middle ground....charge prices and rates and stick with them. instead of tinkering constantly with prices, promotions, bounce-backs, etc etc etc

keep the ticket prices flat and can the free dining and 4/3 nonsense...if it were up to me

Ignore my prior post -- I neglected to factor in tax. Can still buy old prices today.

Increases on kids multi-day is huge -- more than 10%. The 9 day kids PH I'm looking at is going up $29!

Yes but do so quickly. I just purchased four (4)8 day MYW PH WPF&M tickets through Undercover tourist (Mousesaver newsletter) and saved 128$ with tomorrow's increase.
