ticket prices going up? - purchase annual passes now?

Ok so I’ve read ticket prices MAY go up on August… I assume if this happens, the same would occur for annual passes and the DVC discounted price?

Even though my wife and I wouldn’t begin using our DVC annual passes around the first of December, I assume we could we purchase them now to get the certificate/receipt, and then pickup our annual passes and activate them in December when we want them to begin and start their 365 day activation period?

I generally just go to MS online and order them there. Not always easy to find the correct page, but it is there. I then choose "will call" as my form of pickup and it always works great. Been doing it this way for years. (I also use will call for my renewals, but renewals have to be done on the AP holder website -- they magically know that you're a DVC member!)
