Ticket price increases and runDisney ticket prices

A few questions. First, did the Feb. ticket price increase happen already?

I am participating in the Expedition Everest Challenge in May and I am buying tickets soon. I am wondering if runDisney participant ticket prices will remain the same in spite of a regular price ticket increase. If so, I will purchase my tix asap, but if not, I would love to wait until the 1st of May.

I would bet that the rundisney tickets will increase along with the regular tickets. But does EE even have specially priced tickets?

Yes, registered runDisney participants do have the option to purchase specially-priced event tickets.

Last year (2014), I was told there were no discounted park tickets for EE. I vaguely remember being told something similar about the 2014 Princess but I'm not 100% sure about that anymore. We definitely had discounted park tickets for the 2012 Princess.

Lucky you, both with the tickets and getting in! We didn't try to register until 4:00 that afternoon and were shut out -- so disappointed! I couldn't believe it sold out that quickly, even with it being the last year.

I know, I was shocked at how fast it sold out! I'd had it on my calendar for months and then the day the race went on sale, I totally forgot about it because I was super sick with the flu. At exactly 1 minute before they went on sale, I remembered, dragged my sad self out of bed and logged on. For about 3 minutes, it was super slow, but then I was in. I think it sold out in less than an hour, because I tried to get my daughter in and I could only get party tickets. Crazy!
