Hi!

We are taking a taking an unexpected trip in the end of January. We are planning on purchasing 10 day plus no expiration tickets. Do you think prices will increase at the beginning of next year?

I'd like to wait until after Christmas is over to buy them.

Hear any news anyone?

Deb

I believe historically the price increases are during the first week in January. I haven't seen anything definite about this year yet, but I would operate under that assumption.

Price increase Jan 1 What a surprise :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Glad I bought 10 day hoppers with no expiration.

I know it's not possible to predict for sure, but can anyone say about how much they increase at a time historically? I would like to wait because if I get them before the end of the year, they would have to go onto the credit card which means paying interest for a couple months until I have the cash, and it might cost me more than the increase.

Thanks,
:wizard: Beth

Just to be safe, I'm buying my tix in late December.

I thought I remember seeing somewhere that prices were going up in January and people needed to get their tickets now. However, I can't find that source again so my mind could be playing tricks on me. :confused3

Saves me typing it all over again. ;)

And I don't care what Ticketmania may have said, they have no official confirmation on a price increase from Disney at this point in time. Disney never announces intention to raise prices that far in advance to anyone.

At best, TM is speculating just like everyone else is unless of course they are talking about TM raising their prices which they are certainly free to do at any time. ;)

Actually when I worked for the Disneystore when it was still owned by Disney they would give us the heads up about three weeks out that the prices were going to increase. It always seems like they increase in the new year.
