Hey

We plan in doing a 14 night trip in 2017 and just have a few questions

- in uk there is a 14 day ticket or if I purchase from US it's a 10 day tickets. Both around the same price. We plan in going to universal and sea world so will the 10 day one be enough?
The reason I was more interested in the US even though there both the same price at the moment is, am I right in saying. It's likely to be more costly if I wait as prices will go up and if I buy now it locks it in at today's prices. And uk are not selling 14 day tickets for next year yet.

- is it any cheaper if booked as hotels and tickets package ?

- are they non refundable and protected if they were lost

- US tickets never expire is that right ? ( which is good if trip was delayed)

- does the 10 day ticket in US also include days in the water parks on top of the 10 days ?

- does the 10 days need to be used in a row

-will I still get a magic band for free if I stay in a Disney hotel for parks

- if I go for the Disney dinning does that limit me down if I can only get into Disney parks on 10 of the days and not all 14

- Can I use fast pass with both

Thanks for any help

A. Make sure you are comparing the same assets (i.e. Water Parks, Park Hopper) on the tickets.
B, Only you can decide.
C. Maybe. No way to predict when this will happen.
1- No.
2- Yes / You need to link them to your MyDisneyExperience account, then they can't be "lost."
3- Right.
4- If you PURCHASE that option (called Water Parks Fun & More.)
5- No. (But all must be used in a 14-day period of time.)
6- Yes.
7- Dining is tied to your RESORT stay days.
8- Yes.

Can I add them to my Disney experience account even if am not using them for 18 months ?

Oh well sounds like am best getting them now

If going for two weeks. Would you say 10 days will be about right for Disney if your doing universal and sea world as well ?

Also how do I link my magic band to the account once I receive that at the hotel ?

Hi

I can only answer based on my experience we go in Oct for 14 days (for the last 7 years) and could quite easily spend all of our time in Disney. My children are now 11 and 13 and the last trip was the same even after a day trip to Kennedy Space Centre we came back to Epcot for dinner and the fireworks. It really depends on the age of your children and the time of year I guess, as Oct is fairly light crowd wise. I'm afraid we find other parks just don't quite come up to the mark, we seem to spend a lot less time there and we've done them all, but always go a 14 day Disney ticket.

We always stay off site by the way.

I would also follow Robo's suggestion to make sure you are comparing like for like the UK tickets include 'everything' all parks, park hopper, water parks, mini golf, Memory maker and a 9 hole round of golf.

Regards

Paul

Only you can make those decisions.

I can't tell you if you'll like strawberry or chocolate.
I can only tell you how much they cost. ;)

So with Disney dining if I don't have park access am I best going to Disney Springs

You'll need park tickets to dine in the park, you can dine at the hotels (including the ones near MK through the ticketing centre), the Board walk or Disney Springs without park tickets

Memory Maker is now included with the UK tickets due to Disney Quest closing

Just purchasing them online the now

It's asking for all the names of who will be using the pass

Can this be changed if need be

Am getting the 10 day park and water fun ticket

That gets me 10 days into the parks but how many into the water parks on top of that

You get the same number of entries into the "water park and more" attractions as you have days on the ticket. So, 10.

If you spend 10 days in the parks, that leaves you 5 days for Universal/seaworld/rest days

The reason I was more interested in the US even though there both the same price at the moment is, am I right in saying. It's likely to be more costly if I wait as prices will go up and if I buy now it locks it in at today's prices. And uk are not selling 14 day tickets for next year yet.

Sometimes it can be because certain packages include a discount, but not always.

- are they non refundable and protected if they were lost
Tickets are non-refundable, and non-transferable once they are used.

- US tickets never expire is that right ? ( which is good if trip was delayed)
Correct.

- does the 10 day ticket in US also include days in the water parks on top of the 10 days ?
Only if you purchase the waterparks and more option (and you don't get park hopping privileges either, unless you add that on when you purchase the tickets).

- does the 10 days need to be used in a row
Tickets expire 14 days after the first use. So you have to use the 10 days within 14 days, but you don't need to use them consecutively.

-will I still get a magic band for free if I stay in a Disney hotel for parks
Yes

- if I go for the Disney dinning does that limit me down if I can only get into Disney parks on 10 of the days and not all 14
I believe that the dining plan goes with the length of the hotel stay regardless of the number of days on your park tickets. Usually free dining requires a minimum ticket purchase (I don't know if it's 2 days or 3)

- Can I use fast pass with both
Yes. All park guests can use fast pass.

Thanks for any help

New, never used tickets can be transferred to other guests, even after connection to MDE.
