 Can anyone tell me the difference between the 5 day park hopper plus and 5 day length of stay/stars&stripes passes?
The Park hopper plus is a bit more. Also the length of stay passes how do they work? I get there Sunday night and leave Saturday morning so I will only be in the parks for 5 days Mon-Fri so do I get a 5 day length of stay pass or do I need a 7 day one since thats how long I will be on property? Any help ? Thanks:crazy:

5-day PHP= You can use these tickets for five days anytime you want. In addition, you can also hop from park to park on any one day. For example...if you plan on doing one two parks during your trip you would have 3 days left on your ticket that never ever expire. The plus option means that you get a number (it varies) of water parks, pleasure island or WDW Wide World of Sports in addition to the four major parks (MK, AK, Epcot, MGM).

5-day length of stay= You can only use this within the length of your stay on Disney. You can also hop as much as you want between parks. They expire after your trip is over.

Now, the decision is up to you on which ones your family will benefit the most from. Also see Deb's Unofficial here http://www.allearsnet.com/pl/ticket.htm to get a better explanation. :)

Length of Stay (or Ultimate Park Hopper as they are called now) gets you into DQ as well as the water parks, PI. You have to use your plusses to get into PI and Waterparks. No DQ with park hoppers.

If you buy your UPH with your package, I think you can get a small discount on it, but not drop days. It starts the day you arrive and ends the day you leave. If you get it when you check in, you pay full price, but they might let you drop the first or last day (sometimes both).

Hoppers and their plusses are good forever until you use them up. UPH is only good while you are there for that trip. If you change resorts, you may have to purchase another one for that length of stay.

For the hopper, every day you enter a park is a day used. But if you only go to a water park or PI with a plus and none of the four parks (MK, AK, DS or Epcot), you don't use a day of your hopper pass. You can go from park to park on the same day.

UPH will be on your room key. Regular PH with or without plusses might not be on your room key.
