Hi all,

Sorry if this is in the wrong thread, but didn’t know where to post or where to turn :badpc:. Just have a question, as I have a Disney vacation package for my family that includes the free dining plan and park tickets (all above age 10). It turns out that my nephew may not be able to come now, so if not, I’ll be left with extra dining credits and an extra ticket. Rather than going through the cancellation process (and fees), I was thinking of just using the extra credits for some signature meals and snacks for the rest of the group. However what happens to the ticket? I think I would just be able to use it for a future trip for myself (being that its still an adult ticket), however it is one of the date based tickets. Is this true? Would my plan work, or should I just pay the fees and cancel him (prefer not to do this in case he can come, And not sure if we can add him back - made a change earlier and they had to see if the deal is still available which it is not)? Help!! Thanks!!!

I would call Disney. If you are only eliminating a person, they should be able to refund your money for that one person's dining and tickets. (They may charge $50 to modify reservation.)

If he doesn’t come on the trip, Reassign his ticket to you and add the Flexible Option to it. Check the Ticketing site to determine the cost.

Compare it to the cost of canceling him from your reservation. Go with whatever’s less expensive.
