Ticket for a friend

A friend of our lives in Florida and we plan on meeting them on one of our days at WDW. The day will be my treat.

My question: which way do you think would be the best to get them their ticket (or money)?

I have thought of buying a gift card, sending a check, and other options.

I would purchase a gift card. You didn't mention where you live but I believe that FL residents are privy to in state discounts so you would potentially spend more $ if you actually purchased a ticket yourself. I'm not certain if any discounts are applicable for one day passes but you have come to the right place for information.....this site contains a wealth of information!

Buy it for him when you meet at the park.

A gift card or even cash will necessitate the same wait in line at the ticket booth.

My daughter and I are coming to WDW from Texas. Her Dad lives in Orlando and is going to meet us there that day. I am leaning towards the gift card and meet inside the gate.

I received one of the Disney Reward cards (from VISA). I may send him one of those. Does anyone know if it can be used for parking?
