Ticket expiring question

We were supposed to go back in August, and have pushed our trip back to April 2021. Unfortunately it doesn’t seem to look like that will work.

We are thinking of November 2021 at this point, but our tickets expire Sept 2021.

My question: we bought the tickets using that Canadian Discount, so if we pay the difference, will it be quite significant because we got them at a lower price intitially? As in, will upgrading them past sept 2021 cost us quite a bit? Still holding out hope for April but am trying to budget costs for going past expiry.

You can call Disney and ask them how much credit you would get for new tickets. Then look up what the tickets for the new time would cost.

Mine are valid until Sept 21. Don't think we are going until 2022 - I hope it's not going to cost much to upgrade.

Go into your MDE and see if the date is the same as what is printed on your tickets. My physical tickets say Dec 2020 expiry and MDE says 2030. Not sure what is going to happen but I'm hoping for a little pixie dust and preparing to pay the difference.

Keep in mind the people you call may not have accurate information. They are not ticket specialists. If you plan on going in 2022 wait until then to make the call. So much changes from day to day.

If you are looking to budget take the value of the Canadian discounted tickets and subtract that from current gate price then add 10% and you should be safe.

Not sure what your tickets were worth. Let us know what kind and how many days (hopper, water parks etc). Someone here will have a good estimate for you.

Yikes I just looked and some of mine expire then too . I think I bought 2 got 2 through airmiles . I was debating skipping our May trip till cmas now.. ugghh

I think DL and WDW Canadian Resident tickets have two different expiry dates? I know the DL ones are until December, 2021 as we have those.
