Ticket Expiration & FastPass questions

We have a short trip coming up and purchased a single day MK ticket. We picked FPs and got our MBs.
It now looks like the weather will be a problem and half of our party is sick. If we decide not to go into the park -

How long do I have until the tickets expire? There is nothing about an expiration date on my ticket, terms and agreements, receipt, or MyDisneyExperience. Do I have to call to find out?

Does picking FPs change the expiration date? Do I need to cancel my FPs?

Tickets expire 14 days after first use. A one day ticket won't expire until you use it.

If you have a regular Disney Magic Your Way ticket (not a comp ticket, student ticket, or any special discount ticket) then your ticket expiration clock doesn't start until you actually use it to enter one of the 4 theme parks. When used, if more than a one-day ticket, you have 14 days from first use until the ticket expires. Your unused ticket will never expire.

Yes, still never expires. Will Call is just a method to pick up the ticket in person after purchase online. You have a regular MYW ticket (as I described above). And actually, if you set up a MyDisneyExperience account at disneyworld online, this ticket should appear in your account, or you can link it if it's not automatically there. So therefore, the ticket can be accessed at Park Entry using your MagicBand, and you won't need to swing by Will Call to pick it up.

If you do end up not going on that day I would recommend cancelling your fp's just as a courtesy to other guests. That way it will free them up in the system for other guests who are there!

Also, I would take any Florida weather predictions with a large grain of salt, lol.

If you plan a little longer stay when you eventually use the ticket, enter the park first and then add the days. If Disney has raised ticket prices, which happens every year, you should be able to have the value of the ticket increased to the current value
