Okay maybe more than one - but a couple of questions about tickets. This past September we went during the free dining promotion and got one day tickets to use the package (we had our AP's). Now what I'm wondering is this 1.) When we go to upgrade them to 10 day premium plus tickets with no expiration do we get the original value of what was paid for them....or do we get one days cost towards the upgrade. and 2.) Can I upgrade them in advance to get the advance price break over the gate - and if so how do I go about doing that?

Thanks!
Amanda

No one know just yet whether you will get the 2005 price that you paid or the 2006 gate value of the ticket when you go to upgrade the ticket. The whole MYW program is still in its infancy and as of yet, I haven't seen any reports from DISers who have upgraded from 2005 MYW passes.

2.) Can I upgrade them in advance to get the advance price break over the gate - and if so how do I go about doing that?
All uprgrades and dollar credits must be done in person at Guest Services at the parks or in DtD. You cannot do it by mail, fax, or phone. Sorry.

Thank you for the info. Even without the advance option they were still a good deal for us - although it would have been nice to upgrade them in advance. And either way they do the value of the one days will end up being fair. After all I paid a certain price for them regardless of what the value of it is now.

I am anticipating, just guessing, that adding the new features will cost the same 2006 add-on price posted above the ticket booth regardless of the vintage of the original (MYW) ticket or how much you paid for it. That is, day #2 should cost $66. (up from $63. last year), non-expiration for the 10 day should cost $138. (up from $107. last year) and hopping should cost $43. (up from $37. last year). (Tickets first used less than 13 days prior to upgrade, or unused.)

If you were also charged a 2005 to 2006 differential to do an upgrade, starting with a 1 day base ticket ($64. last year, $67. this year), the number of dollars difference is very small.
