Long time lurker, first time poster here. Going to WDW for first time (w/ DH, DD7 and DS5) since I was 16 (1984) and I never stayed in the park before. I am bursting with excitement :Pinkbounc and I love visiting this board for the great info and reading all of the posts gets me even more excited for the trip. We are staying at the WL and have four days on "one park a day" tickets. I just have some questions in order to figure out how things work:

1) Will we get a four day "pass" that will work for one park each day or do we actually get 4 one day tickets and use one each day

2) When I take the boat to the TTC for MK, is there an entrance for people coming from TTC right into MK, or do you go to the general entrance that everyone uses

3) Do they have PS times for character breakfasts before the park opens. If so, how do you get in for the breakfast?

4) Any tips for a good room at WL, we have a woods view (see question 5 for reasoning) and I requested a queen and bunk combo in a quieter area of the hotel near the boat ramp (for a quick escape in the morning).

5) Do they sell beer/wine at any of the stores in DD that we could take back to our room? Hubby and I love to relax with a cold one on the balcony after a long day of fun while the kids unwind with some TV.

6) How long is the boat ride from WL to TTC?

I'm sure more questions will come. Thanks in advance for any help, I know I asked alot in one post.

1. You get one pass that you re-use on all four days. (It is possible to buy individual one day passes but they cost more and there is the danger you can use the wrong card on the same day and waste one.)

2. The boats from TTC and WL drops you off in a large attractively landscaped outside area that the monorail and bus passengers also come through, then you proceed through a security checkpoint (no metal detecting arch) and then to the turnstiles.

3. From time to time there are priority seatings for breakfast before the park opens. If you drive to the Magic Kingdom (TTC), you would take the "resort monorail". Currently there are some problems getting in to the Animal Kingdom parking lot for their early morning PS's and all I can suggest is that, if you are driving, park at the Animal Kingdom Lodge Resort (tell them your PS is there, sometimes they limit you to three hours) and take the bus to the AK.

Welcome to the DIS. Have you purchased tickets yet? You might want to take a look at the sticky at the top of this board which explains about buying the tickets.

You get one ticket with all 4 days on it.

There's a general entrace that everybody uses.

Depending on the restaurant, yes there are Advanced Dining Arrangements available before the park opens. There is a hostess standing in front of the entrance with a list of names. If your name is on the list, you enter just as you would any other day. If your name isn't on the list, you just wait outside the gates. :)

I've never stayed at this hotel, but of everything I've read, there's no particularly bad view. So matter what, I think you'll be in good shape! :)

Not sure about wine, but I think the sundries store at WL sells beer. The one at The Beach Club did, so I think you should be able to enjoy your B&B time. (Beer & Balcony ;) )

Again - haven't stayed here, so hopefully somebody can better answer your WL questions

There is no boat that goes from the WL to TTC unless it was recently added. You can take the boats from the WL to MK. You may also take the boats to CR and FW. If you want to go to TTC you take a bus, if there is one that still goes there. We've only had to do that once when we wanted to go to DTD during the day before the regular bus started running. I DON'T reccomend this unless it's absolutely neccessary. It took forever. I think the last time there they had a bus running. We never had to go to TTC. I hope this helps. Unless they totally changed things around and then someone else can update you.

Thanks for all of the help. I guess I was a little confused about the boat/TTC thing, I thought the boat brought you to TTC but it brings you right to MK. I'm still learning :teacher: , I'll have it all figured out by November :teeth:
