If I upgrade 1 adult and 2 kids MYW 10 day park hopper to annual pass, am I correct in thinking it'll be about $500 total for the upgrade on the 3 tickets?

You just have to do the math...

A 10 day park hopper is $287 for an adult and $252 for a child. The annual passes are $469 for an adult and $414 for a child.

You'll pay the difference, or $182 for the adult and $162 each for the kids, for a total of $506 plus tax.

It also depends on where you bought the ticket and if it has been used. If it is an unused ticket, then you only get credit for what you paid for it. So, if you bought it at a disocunt, then you don't get the gate price for it. However, if you use a day off it, then you would get full gate price for it as long as you're in the 14-day window from first use.

Yes, you're right. If your ticket is unused and you have bought it at a discount (Undercover Tourist, AAA, bought before last year's price increase, etc.), you will receive the credit toward an upgrade for the amount you actually paid for the ticket. If you have used the ticket, you will receive credit in the amount of the current gate price.

And be sure to upgrade within 14 days of first use, even if you have purchased the no-expiration option.
