Hi
I'm planning on going to Florida next year and have just started looking at things now.

I have seven children so everything is so much more confusing and costly!

So last time I went I bought the 14 day ultimate Disney tickets as the children (only had 4 then) were younger and weren't big enough for universal.

But this time I got to thinking that surely you can get it cheaper as I won't really visit a park every day!

So on having a search:
The Disney/universal combo ticket plus a day at legoland for 7 (twins under 3) is a whopping £3059

To do it direct on the American websites for a 6 day Disney pass, 3 day universal and 1 day legoland is £2039 total!

So a massive £1020 saved!!

Is it feasible to do it this way? Can uk visitors but there tickets from the American Disney/universal sites??
Do they e mail tickets or do you collect from there?

Thanks in advance

As you have found you will almost always save money by buying what you need rather than length of stay for all parks!

Disney tickets check out Undercover Tourist for Disney tickets - they send you real tickets and very good on price. Used them several time and highly recommend :thumbsup2

One thing to check - is the Disney 6 Day Ticket the Base Ticket? If so, this doesn't give access to the water parks, nor does it allow you to park hop.

If this is this case, I would suggest maybe looking at adding the "Plus" option which would also give 6 admissions to the water parks for around $50pp extra, and would then allow you to have a few extra days in the Disney environment at relatively little additional cost.

Alternatively, could be worth checking the cost for an additional day or two admission on your ticket - you may be able to get a 7 day ticket for the price of 6 - which as you have two under 3's with you could give you a little extra flexibility should you have to leave a park early one day.

As ever, apologies if you are already aware of this and have taken it into account.

Thanks both.
I wasn't sure about water parks as would only really do one day at one because the twins will be so young. Wasn't sure if not cheaper to just book 1 day when there???? Will look at adding it on - thank you

I'd looked at the hopper but I remember I didn't 'hop' between parks last time we went as it was more hassle to load up the kids and bags and travel to another park!

Love the tourist link. Will keep my eye on that site!!

I think it's around $45 (+ tax) for a single day admission. The $55 would give you the option to perhaps visit for a few mornings or afternoons rather than full days, which may be a better option for your twins?

Whichever option you choose, have a fantastic time.

7 children? That's almost a field trip :rotfl:

I have four and that was hard. Accommodation can be tricky (and expensive) for larger families! Are you staying off site? Are some of the kids old enough to accompany the younger ones? Many rides at WDW won't let kids ride "alone" if they're under 7.

Happy planning!

Ha ha....

We went with four in 2008 and have had another one and a set of twins since!!

Yes we will stay at a villa on terre verde gated community just off 192. I need the space and having our own pool will much easier!!
There's a pool, games room, gym, fishing lake also on complex so the older ones will be occupied!

The kids will be 14,12,9,7,5 and nearly 3 year old twins!!!

My mum and dad are coming too and my brother, sister in law and there toddler!!

Very hectic!!!!!!
