Ticket change - should I book package now?

We are definitely planning to go to Disney next August. The dates aren't set in stone but I have a rough idea of the days. Given the new ticket policy coming, would it be wise to just book our package now (we stay on-site) and if I have to make a change to the dates later, do that? Don't want to pay more than I have to already should the ticket cost go up.

Yep, I'd probably book a 3 week trip that encompasses the dates I think I want to go and just adjust down when I'm able to finalize things.

Ultimately it's a gamble and you'll have to make that call for yourself. In your shoes I would purchase now but I would do so accepting the fact that prices might go down instead of up. And I would consider holding off to book until the last minute hoping that the prices leak before they go live, but idk what the odds are of that.
