Am I remembering reading that somewhere? Next trip we are staying off-site, probably during summer 2017. I didn't see an option on Undercover Tourist to put dates in when buying tickets, WDW site either.
Just playing around to get ticket prices, on WDW site under ticket purchases, in tiny print is says block out dates for most of June-August 2017.
Long winded question, is there a certain place I go to but future tickets? Can undercover tourist tickets be used anytime?

One-day tickets are subject to a tiered pricing based on Value, Regular, and Peak seasons. Magic Kingdom tickets are also separate from non-Magic Kingdom tickets. These tickets also expire after a certain time even if unused, but can be used towards the purchase of a new ticket even after expiration.

Multi-day tickets are not tiered (or separated by park) and as such, can be used in any season. They also don't expire until 14 days after first use. If unused, they remain valid indefinitely.

The multi-day tickets with summer blockouts you saw are most likely the Florida Resident 3 and 4 day tickets, which are discounted and generally have blockout dates similar to the Silver annual pass. These also have different rules regarding expiration - they last six months after first use but also have an "end date" expiration even if unused.

Oohhhhh!! So buying more than a one day ticket--those can be used anytime, I just need to pick a specific date for ticket if we're going only one day??
We're getting 5 day tickets.

I need some help and some reassurance. I booked a trip to WDW for the end of March 2017. I will be there for 5 days (Sat- Wed -leaving Thursday morning) and I have booked a 5 day Park Hopper pass through Disney for 2 people. The cost is $873.97, for the two of us. I just looked up a 5 day park hopper on UnderCover Tourist and the cost is $825.54. A savings of $47.43 or 5.4%. First can I cancel my tickets with WDW and get the tickets through Undercover Tourist? If I can do this how do I get them attached to my Magic Bands. Has anyone ever had any troubles with Undercover Tourist ticktets?

Thanks for your help

UT is an authorized ticket reseller. There are no issues registering them on MDE. They will provide the necessary codes
No idea if you can get refunds on tickets bought from Disney or not

If you bought tickets as part of your WDW Resort reservation, you can cance

If you bought your Disney tickets and WDW resort together as part of a "room and tickets" package, you can cancel the tickets (unless they are part of a special pricing "deal.")

If you simply bought Disney tickets as a stand-alone deal, there are no refunds.
