Since we are going with getaway today we have to exchange our tickets at the ticket booth. ( or is it at the main gate? ) any ways how late can we do this? we fly in at 7:30 but know we will not get into anaheim until at least 9:00 pm. I was thinking of running to the park for the tickets before we go to bed so we did not have to do this in the morning. but if we have to do it in the morning, how soo do the booths open? I heard standing at the ticket booths can be a pain, long lines etc.

I have never used them so I am not sure what they gave you for tickets. I do that if you buy online from the Disney site, you print out a paper that you take to the turn styles and they give you your ticket there. In that case you don't go to the ticket booth. I'm just not sure what you have. :confused3 Can you ask them just so you know? You are right, you really don't want to stand in line at the ticket booth.

Thanks hon, I do hope anyone who has goen with get away today will have this answer. I saw the lines one day at the ticket booth, I cringe now :scared1: I hope I can take the ticket to the turnstyles !!

I got this from on line.... does this mean ticket booth ? ugh !

I purchased my Disneyland Resort Park Hopper Tickets from Get Away Today. Where do I pick them up?

Disneylandticket_2After you place your Disneyland Park Hopper Ticket order with Get Away Today, we'll automatically send your order directly to the Disneyland Resort. When you arrive at Disneyland, here's what you need to do:

1. Go to one of the Disneyland Resort ticket windows.
2. Give them your name and give the Disneyland Cast Member your ID. You MUST have your ID or they won't issue the ticket(s).
3. Once they verify you're the person who ordered tickets, they'll issue the Park Hopper Tickets to you.

I would say go to the ticket booth the night before. They aren't "activated" until you cross through the gate the next morning.

Yeah I think I will head over when we get in, but need to know when the ticket booths close so its not a wasted walk.
Does anyone know when the ticket booths close for the night?

Okay, here's the skinny on GAT. You must go to the ticket booths (not the turnstiles or guest services) and show your ID. If you ordered the tickets in your name - your ID. If you put them in someone else's name - they have to show their ID. It can take a little while to look you up in the system and to issue your tickets. When we went the first time it took about 10-15 minutes to issue 6 tickets - but I also put the tickets in DH's name instead of mine and I was trying to pick them up. :scared1: What I didn't know is that you can pick the tickets up the night before (or whenever) and they are NOT activated until you use them at the turnstiles.

I think the ticket booths close about an hour before the parks do. It would be worth checking when you get there. I know that they didn't open as early as I wanted them to when we first went and were picking up tickets. About 1/2 hour before the park opens - IIRC. Getting the tickets the day before is totally worth it in my opinion - saves soooo much time and hassle when all you want to do is GO INTO THE PARK!!! HTH. :flower3:

everyone has been correct I did this night before and went smoothly they will ask for your id and if you ordered character breaky's they will give u the ticket vouchers for that also!!! Easy and painless!!!

Thank you !! So we won't get to our motel before nine oclock, but I believe the park will not close until midnight ( August 19th) so I will be sure to run over and get the tickets. thank you all so much :)

I can verify that we have picked up our GAT tickets the night before we wanted to get to the parks. We also got in kind of late and were still able to get our tickets at the ticket booth. I asked the same question the last time we went and got the same answer, the ticket booths stay open until about an hour before park closing. HTH!

At another forum, David "Darkbeer" Michael wrote that the North West Ticket Booth (nearest the Disneyland Guest Services Booth/Picnic Area) remains open until after Park Closing. It also takes care of all the Guest Services issues, as that separate area now closes prior to park closing.

Here's a wikimap that shows the "West Ticket Booths." The "North West Ticket Booth" is the one that is closest to the DL Main Entrance.

Hope this helps. :earsboy:

Thank you so much!!!!!! that helped very much. I appreciate the help, now thats really helping when I can acctually see where things are :) wonderful !!!!!

When we activated our APs we had to do so at the ticket booths (Costco AP vouchers), we got the parks late and the ticket booths on the Harbor side were all closed so we waited in line to see where to go. The CM told us that there is always a ticket booth open, but it's the booth on the hotel side of the esplanade, not the Harbor side, so just walk on over there an get the tickets. It will be easy, not so many people in line that late at night. :)
