We are finally taking our first Universal trip the very first week of December! I'm so excited because it is all new to us, but I have a few questions...
We bought 4 day park-to-park admission with unlimited express pass. We will be spending 5 whole days in the area and wanted to take a day off in the middle to go to MVMCP. So, are these tickets and express passes similar to Disney in that you use/activate them and then you have 14 days or whatever to use them up? I'd hate to burn an express pass day without even using it. I only ask because it makes you pick a "start date" when you buy them online, which made me worry.
Also, we started daydreaming about this trip months ago, before I realized how the whole Christmas season works at Universal. So, my husband already had the first week of December off at work.....and then we went to book our trip and realized that we will completely miss the Christmas stuff. Is there any chance that the face-character Grinch might make an appearance before the official start of "Grinchmas"? My toddler son looooooooves the Grinch, and I was hoping he would get to meet him. (I showed him a picture of the more cartoony Grinch and he didn't know who it was.)
Thanks in advance!
ETA: I found the answer to my ticket question. And I'm guessing the answer to my second question is no, since no one has any tips.
