Ticket and FP+ question

Sorry if the answer to this is somewhere in a mega thread but I'm hoping I can get a quick answer.

I have a 3 day park hopper ticket. I have my FP+ selected for Mon/Tues/Wed of my trip. In hindsight, I should've done a 4 day ticket because I'm hoping to get there early enough to go explore and do a dessert party on Sunday night. My question is; do I need to upgrade my ticket to a 4 day BEFORE I go into the park on Sunday? My concern is that if I use my ticket to go into the park on Sunday, my FP will be deleted on Wednesday because it'll recognize that I won't have another day on my ticket. I didn't want to deal with ticket stuff when I first got there but I guess I will if I need to. The ticket booths at DL can get crazy long - I don't know what to expect at WDW.

No. You’ll need to upgrade sometime that day or early Monday morning.

FPs remain intact up to 1.5 days without a valid ticket entitlement. Don’t forget to upgrade or you will lose Wednesday’s FPs.
