Hello I hope I’m asking this right. My DBIL and DSIL along with their 2 kids is going with us in Feb and they have 4 days left on their park hopper tickets. One ticket only has 3 PH days left, does he have to buy the extra ticket before they select FP+? Im guessing you have to have a valid ticket linked before you make FP+ selections? TIA.

Yes, and that one ticket is going to cost about $100.

Not an inexpensive proposition.

Cool thank you! So he can call now and have an extra day added to his tickets?

if the ticket is more than two weeks old and have been used, you cant add anything to the ticket. the cost above is for a new oneday ticket.

It is a non-expiring ticket with days left, sorry should have mentioned that. So is that something he can do on the phone or when we get there?

Just to clarify he can't add another day to that ticket he will have to purchase another ticket and yes he can do that now via phone or Disney store. He can then link both of his tickets to his DME account an make FP+ for all 4 days.

However, depending on if/when they are returning to Disney after this trip it may make more sense to purchase a 4 day expiring ticket for him to use this trip and save his 3 day non expiring for another trip.

nonexpiring means tickets dont expire. it doesnt mean you can change them forever. once two weeks passes they cant be changed any more

This.

Do they plan on going back to Disney again? If so, it'd make more sense to buy a new 4-day ticket and save the non-expiry for future use.

So we just found out that we will have visitors for our trip in December, we already have 6 day hopper passes, if we want to add another day after we get to WDW is the price to add another day the single day admission price? Thanks

If you have not used your 6 day hopper passes yet, use them first and then upgrade them to a 7 day - the cost of the 7th day will be the difference between a 6 day and a 7 day pass.

If you have used them already and it was more than 14 days ago then as previously mentioned up thread you can not add days or modify them in any way. You would have to purchase another ticket and yes that would be the one day admission cost depending on the park you want to visit.

Which is just $10.65 per ticket, including tax.
