OK. 2 day park passes for 3 adults and 1 child = $508. or
7 day park passes with no expiration = $1026. Park hopper would raise the price to $1176.

My question is if I were to buy the 7 day w/no expiration can I add the hopper option at a later date if I say used 2 days of the ticket. The second question is my DS is 9 now, will his child pass be good when he gets older? Thanks.

Yes, you can add the park hopper feature later but it's not going to save you any money by doing it. In other words, you'll still be charged a park hopper addition for a 7 day ticket - not a 5 day ticket. I had the same question last year, and just decided to go ahead and add it now even though we didn't plan to park hop on that trip. You know what, we park hopped on that trip.

And yes, the child's ticket will be good for life. I just bought the most days I could on my oldest DD's ticket on this last trip since it was the last trip she would be under 9. Now, we've already got her tickets for in the future at a much lower price.

We went to WDW last November with four y/o hopper passes from 2001. DS was now 13 and DD was 11, and we still had their child tix. On the last day, an attendant made a comment but nothing else came of it.
