Hi..me again, and i am getting a bit of a headache trying to sort out our tickets for Disney this year..i think the problem is that my children who are 13 and 7 both want to do different things! We have been to Eurodisney a few times ,so my youngest has had character breakfasts/Dinner etc although i appreciate Florida is a different ball game..but there is so much to do and my children aren't very good with queues!!! I was thinking of doing 2 days at wdw/2 at universal..then 2 days waterpark, shopping, kennedy space centre, beach etc for the other days..with this in mind can anyone help with which tickets i should go for?i keep thinking i have sorted it,then something else crops up...can anyone help please?

I always say us Brits have the better ticket options, as it's less complicated.

This website http://www.attraction-tickets-direct.co.uk/ has the best options. Have a good look.

I personally always go for '14 day Ultimate Tickets' for WDW, but it depends on how long you're going for? & with Universal Orlando i always go for the 'Universal 2/3 Park Bonus Tickets'.

This website also has good ticket options - http://www.officialticketcenter.com/

The key to not waiting in line for very long is doing your research with the rides! I'd suggest buying 'The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World' from Amazon.

:)

If this is your 1st visit I suggest a mimimum of 1 day in each park, Disney have 4 parks so at least 4 days. You can do in less if you want to miss things but you can easily spend more than 1 day in each. You can buy a 4 day Disney ticket with water parks for around £185 but does not allow you to hop between parks, as said above UK tickets usually offer better value and more flexibility, for about £215 you can get 14 day tickets that allow you to come and go as you please into anything Disney, including Disney Quest.

Universal, check their site for a 2 day ticket but for a similar price you will get 14 day tickets(£85)

Kennedy pay at gate with a voucher you can pick up locally unless you see a deal somewhere, I have not looked recently.

As others had said the UK 14 day Ultimate offers the most flexibility for the Disney parks and really you are going to need at least 4 days - one at each main park.

US & IOA will need another day each and Kennedy is a day trip as well.

As for your kids not doing well in queues - you best bet is to be up and in the parks at opening and then use Fastpass at Disney. Universal have a similar thing called Express pass however you have to buy it separately.

However sometimes you just have to wait and I use it as learning experience for our DD - she has just tuned 3 and in May she waited 25 mins for Big Thunder Mountain and 30 mins for Toy Story Mania. The thing is the queues for most rides keep moving so you are not standing in one place that long. In Disney they have also started installing interactive queues at some rides so they help pass the time too.

Thanks everyone,it looks as if the 14 ultimate seems to be the one of choice and as for the queues..THEY HAVE BEEN WARNED!!

Brilliant! :thumbsup2

Yes queues can be really annoying but luckily WDW have a good air con system & there's usually plenty to look at whilst waiting so hopefully if they're in a long queue they won't get too bored! Try doing the 'main' rides first & get fastpasses, like another poster said. :)
