Hey I have a question...

I know you can not wear your wedding dress into the parks, but can you wear your tiara and veil? I'm thinking i might like to get more use out of it :)

Also, anyone hear of someone wearing their wedding dress inside the park for MNSSHP?

I don't want to break any rules, but I am planning an at home wedding and am not even sure where Disney has all their "what you can or can not wear" rules posted. I have just heard through the grapevine of these boards.

Thanks!

I'm planning on wearing my dress next year to MNSSHP. I don't see that being a problem, I've seen some great costumes at MNSSHP.

There isn't a problem wearing your tiara in the parks. I've worn one of the little crowns for my birthday.

How cool!

I don't know that I will (heavy, long... hot) but it is nice to know that I could possibly.

Is it possible to bring your bouquet back into the parks? Assuming it isn't dead and ugly... :rotfl: Just curious!

I hadn't thought of that. At this point my florist is using fresh, but he also has high quality silks that would cost a little more for my bouquet. I have been considering since my bouquet will be so heavy as it is.

Of course... If your bouquet was dead... you could just use it as a "halloween" prop.

Ohh i am seriously debating using my dress for a costume... :D

I was just curious, I don't know if anyone has tried that... but I think it would be fun to have to randomly whip out for an impromptu photo-op throughout the day!

And your wedding dress as a custome... your ideas intrigue me, I wish to subscribe to your newsletter! :rotfl:

I hadn't thought of carrying my bouquet around with me. I plan on getting mine made of silk (so I can make my own shadowbox cheaper then keepsake floral).

I'm going to make a paper or button bouquet for mnsshp, but if I do buttons I may carry it with me. Because it'll be small.

I wouldn't recommend wearing your dress as a costume unless you're okay with the chance it could get ruined. You never know what you might walkover, or how many times you'll get stepped on.

Ahh yes, probably not the best idea if you actually want to keep the thing... but an interesting way to trash the dress, no doubt. ;) Just ask all the little kids with sticky fingers to attack you! :rotfl:

Oh yes, I would definitely go into the deal with a "trash the dress" attitude. I wouldn't expect it to survive... but if it did, I would be okay too:thumbsup2

I am still unsure... I mean how easy will it even be to get on and off the rides?

Photo opportunities versus comfort...:confused3

I hadn't thought about getting on/off rides. In all the parties I've been to I've been so busy with special characters, parades, and fireworks. I've never ridden anything.

fixed all my spelling errors (Should not post 1 handed from cell phone when doing something else on computer)
