Is Tiana only VQ or is there paid ILL as well? I’m seeing conflicting information. Thanks!

It currently has a VQ and a Genie+ LL option until July 24th there is no ILL option. Also there is currently No Standby queue. Disney has stated a Standby queue will not be open initially. The VQ is also expected to close and TBA will be part of LLMP as a Tier 1 selection with no LLSP option.

Only Seven Dwarfs and Tron will be offered as LLSP options.

WHAT A JOKE. DISNEY, shut it down. We bought a LLMP specifically for Tiana’s, 10:30 am, but they cancelled it. Managed to get a VQ at 1 - boarding groups never passed 85. FIVE more virtual queues - all no go. Today - boarding group 2. Waited in MK, but it didn’t open, so switched parks for the afternoon.

Finally received a notice to board at 12:45, raced over, and the ride shut down when we arrived.

Disney - SHUT IT DOWN until you can get it somewhat functional. So frustrating.

The ride averages 120-130 boarding groups per day so it's doing a pretty good. I'm assuming you went on 8/26-8/27 which unfortunately had the most down time since it opened. This stuff happens.

I agree that stuff happens, but even the staff were saying that it’s unfair - today (almost 3 pm) it’s been open for about 30 minutes. Apparently the sensors are malfunctioning and not triggering events as the logs move by (but also concerns about the sensors not recognizing log placement - safety issue). They’ve tried to troubleshoot it over the last week, but it’s been a tough one for staff and visitors alike, and the problem has been getting worse.

We’ve been here many times, but haven’t experienced anywhere near the frequency of breakdowns. Don’t get me wrong - we love Disney and are having an excellent trip, but have been stranded on six rides so far, walked out for one, and had one shut down as we finally approached the loading platform. Very very surprising.

We were evacuated off of Tiana at the end of the night on 8/20, and on 8/24 it didn't even open until around 12:30pm. This is anecdotal of course, but there seemed to be a lot of ride downtime last week compared to trips I've taken in the past. My in-laws stayed a few days after I left and had terrible luck - SDMT was down for what seemed like 24 hours Sunday into Monday (they ended up getting a refund for their LLSP), along with Tiana, SM, HM, and the railroad at various points while SDMT was down, and even Philharmagic had delays while they were in line. After they came out of that theater, Pan was down. Crowds were low, but so many attractions were unavailable!

I had a look at the Thrill-data and while Tiana is having a particularly bad week, I’m not sure the site captures the minor stoppages that we experienced on many many rides. As services continue to be cut back, I hope that maintenance (both preventative and responsive) isn’t falling victim of the park-wide reductions that we are all experiencing

Today was our MK day. We were so looking forward to riding Tiana. I had discussed trying to snag a boarding group on the virtual queue with DH yesterday as I had never done it before. He has done it several times for Guardians and Tron.

Just before 7 this morning he was still sleeping so I thought I would give it a go and got it figured out. I was signed in and ready to go about 3 minutes before 7. Right at 7 I go to push the "join queue" button and it tells me they have all been distributed for the day but somehow I have one for Tron.

I walk into the bedroom to find DH had woken up, gotten on his phone, and got himself a boarding group for Tron then tried to claim he didn't know Tiana had a virtual queue. LIES!!!!! We discussed this last night doofus!!!!!

Ugh, men.

But, it was down for most of the day today anyway so I don't think they opened the queue back up at 1. We will try again on Friday.

We leave tomorrow for our 2 week trip so I’ve been watching Tiana vq times like a hawk the last few days…. Oh boy is it ever having issues! Has anyone been there in the last week or so and can report back on the vq group number they got and when it was called? Every time I look it says boarding paused and it seems to not even start boarding til almost noon each day . At this point, we may just say screw it and grab TRON vqs instead at 7am and roll the dice with Tiana at 1.

I have a LLMP for Tiana at 9:30-10:00 PM... assuming the ride isn't shut down for the day will I be able to get on even if they're way behind on VQ boarding groups?

Also I assume they'll close the line at 10:00 (normal park closing time for this day) but will they keep running the ride until everyone in the line has ridden?

Finally- it's an extended evening hours night... does that change anything?

I “scored” a VQ on 8/27 about 7:01. Down all day until we came back for MNSSHP where it seemed to be working just fine 🤦‍♀️ Didn’t ride it then because we were in costumes. Praying it’s up later this week when we have a LLMP.

I hope all will have better luck than we did. The Thrill data indicating that there are 120-130 boarding groups per day doesn't really give you the whole picture, as the window for an earlier boarding group expires and they move to the higher numbers, so while someone with a boarding group of 120 may get to ride if it's up and running late in the day, but the window of opportunity for the first 100 boarding groups might have come and gone without an opportunity to ride (which happened to us twice). We were boarding group 2, the ride first opened for the day at 12:50 pm for about 30 minutes, and many many individuals who didn't get to ride before it closed again (about 50 boarding groups) received a "boarding group expired" message. In theory, you can go and plead your case, and they may let you board with an expired pass, but it's been a very tough week for Tiana.

That happened to me with TRON and when it came back up they called my group again and I had an extended window (maybe 2 hours, can’t remember) to return.

That happened to us yesterday. We got boarding group 56. Hadn't planned to go to MK that day but lost out on a boarding group on our planned MK day so we thought we would just hop over from AK. We kept an eye on what boarding groups had been called all morning and early afternoon. Between ride downtime and what I assume was downtime due to weather we were back at the resort. Started heading toward MK when boarding groups from....I don't remember which but up to boarding group 53 were called and we didn't make it in time. We were so disappointed.

Oh well. Better luck next year.

Did either of you go to the ride and tap in? Our experience last week was they were allowing guests to ride after their BG expired. We were 30 mins late one time and tap still turned green. Someone in front of us turned blue meaning he was even later returning than us and the CM didn’t say a word and overrode it turning the tap green.

I would recommend trying to tap in, even when late, especially on a day when the attraction is having problems. CMs are very accommodating!
