Tiana charms at the Disneystore?

Just seen DLPDreams post about them being sold out!!! We were away when they were released! Are they sold out in all stores too?

If anyone is at a Disneystore in the next few days and sees one - by some insane chance, could you get me one?

I went yesterday and my store still had some really surprised they sold out!

If they are still there next time I go I'll try an get an extra 2

Just been reading about the charms being sold out etc apparently it is because they are UK Only so people are buying them to sell to the US!

It's very likely they'll be available again at some point. Rapunzel was sold out for a while online too and she's available again now.

I asked in the Kingston store this week, and apparently they are expecting more later in the year - perhaps at the same time as the Belle charm.

asked in store today, and was told that they didnt expect them to be so popular so there bringing tiana back in june along with that months princess

Honestly think it depends on whom you speak to as to the answer you get . It is certainly that way in our local DS where I've often been given conflicting information depending on whom you ask! I was told they may or may not be getting them back in, they did hope to though. They did tell me they didn't think Tiana would be as popular and it seems they had ordered much lower numbers of those compared to Rapunzel (which is their most popular princess with regard to merchandise normally). Which does tally with what others were told .

I asked when lady and the tramp was being released on DVD I was told may
2 weeks ago I asked would Duffy come to UK stores like his is in US stores was first told they don't know who Duffy was then was told after they decide IF he goes to DLP he may come to the UK!

they should recruit their staff from this board. Obviously in the UK it's 'just' a job to many of their staff, unlike in say the US where most staff are huge Disney fans and so tend to be 'experts' in at least one field .

Seriously though, they could do with a bit more training in some areas - especially those stores who do sell pins - which aren't that many

There is one guy at our local store who is great (some of the staff are less than enthusiastic!), I always try and speak to him if I need anything - he is so helpful!

At Christmas we had some great staff one was a huge Vinylmation fan I really enjoyed talking to her! One left last septmeber to work in Epcot and the others aren't any good! I agree we should all apply lol!

The thing is - if they offered staff discount I'd be bankrupt . Actually, come to think of it, even if they didn't offer discount I'd be bankrupt Too much temptation looking at new stuff every day!

my sister in law worked in disney store over christmas as s christmas temp and she got 50% discount, even on sale items.

We had a mixed experience at the DS today - got to the MC way too early, intending to have a mooch about - but got fed up by 2pm, story time wasn't til 4pm - but when we got to the store it just seemed like they had no intention of doing it, when hubby asked he was told it would start when the store got a bit quieter! I think they got fed up with us hanging about in the end and it finally started at 4:35pm!!!

However, the girl was lovely who did it and made a huge fuss of Rose as she had her Tiana dress on, she got her little storybook sticker book thing and the girl gave her the Rapunzel sticker she missed last month. A few other little girls joined in, and I had a lovely chat with one of the mummy's about DLP and Hong Kong (where they may be going). Then at the end the girl gave Rose a special present because she was the only one dressed up - it was just a plastic ring sprayed with Pixiedust perfume, but she loved it and felt so special that she was the only one that got something (although I felt slightly uncomfortable that the other little girls didn't get one - although their mums all thought it was lovely that she got something for dressing up!)

But they seem all over the place as a store!

I asked at the Milton Keynes store on Saturday (one of the selected ones for the UK) about the charms. She told me they wouldnt get new stock until summer, but there will be another push on them.

I was there to get the limited edition Tiana pin which went into stores that morning. I missed out. Splitting a limited batch across all of the UK stores, meant they were only allocated 4. They were gone in the first few minutes, with people waiting from 8am

They screwed up the online ordering again, big time. I assume the stores had part of their allocation withdrawn again as it happened for the Rapunzel pin.
