Tiana’s beignets look so good, but is Golden Oak outpost a circus restaurant?

Just there a couple of days ago. Air conditioned seating is ample directly across at the Tortuga/Pecos Bill complex, but agree with other posters that the ones in MK are horrible! They seem rushed there and ours were not allowed time to rise sufficiently, flat and gross. However, the gumbo by all accounts is very good!!!!

I looooove beignets and really didn't mind the ones at Golden Oak at all - maybe we just hit a good time? Staying at POFQ in a few weeks and this makes me even more excited to try those for the first time!

I've lost track of how many times I've gone back and forth between trying them out of curiosity due their reviews and not wanting to insult my stomach (which to be fair, is fairly flexible when it come to sweets).

Amazing how much time I can "waist" planning my breakfast in March
