THV question

DH and I are so excited about THV being possibly available on 6/1/09. We already have an extended family trip/cruise planned and we arrive to WDW on 6/8/09 and stay 3 nights before our cruise We would love to be able to stay at THV. However......what happens if THV aren't ready at that point? Right now, we have 3 studios booked but I plan on switching to THV in Feb. Should I keep those studios "just in case" or does Disney have a back up plan? I just don't want to spend our 1st real trip home camping under the tree instead of sleeping in the treehouse.

DVC is not going to book you into THV unless they know they will be ready. I'm sure they have left plenty of wiggle room for completion problems. They'll probably be going thru final inspection in February or March at latest.

thanks...I really hope they're ready at June 1. I just didn't know how close Disney cuts these things.

DVC has been very conservative at setting point reservation start dates. They can always open up more dates later if they find they are ahead of schedule or cash rent them.

I am actually hoping they set the opening date after my June vacation so if they open up early I might get a AP or DVC discounted tree house for about $480/night (I can dream can’t I)

Is there points chart available for THV, and can reservations be booked now?
