We just booked THV for May 2012. If anyone told me before we bought DVC I would be planning my vacations so far in advance I'd tell them they were nuts. We just go back from THV last week. We loved it.:love:

I'm glad you were able to book another stay! Our family has a THV stay late in October and we excited about that!

Just returned from split stay including THV in June -- already planning when we'll be able to afford succumbing to add-on-it is to have enough points to stay 2 wks every 2years at the THV.

I'm missing the master bathroom shower and DD3 loved the bunk bed -- she played "pirate" while she was "on board.". I also miss being in a forest with public transportation -- we had a car, but the dedicated TH bus seems to run even more often than every 20 mins.

We missed the King size bed a little, but having 2 additional bedrooms made up for it. We had our two daughters and one of their boyfriends. That meant everyone was in a bedroom and we didn't have to use the living room as a bedroom.

We are also going to THV in May of 2012. Do you have any suggestions?

I've 'requested' a room near the Grandstand walkway, since I think we'll be going to eat at SSR at least once.

I think I'd also like to go a couple of cookouts. From pics, I assume it is charcoal, we'll have to buy some lighter fuel or coals that don't need it.

Any advice - or if you would like to share your stories, I'd like that.

Yes it is charcoal. If you would rather not use lighter fluid, there are many websites with instructions on how to make a starter chimney with a number 10 (1 gallon size) can. Or you can buy one from Home Depot, Lowes, REI, etc.

I think I used a bit of Match-lite coals mixed with regular coals. To the best of my knowledge, only the grills at VGC are gas.
